ArcGIS Runtime SDKs v10.2.4 Latest Releases (Android, IOS, OSX and. NET)

The latest release of the ArcGIS Runtime SDKs v10.2.4 includes: Android, IOS, OS x, and. NET four platforms, where users and developers can log in to the ESRI developer website to download the latest SDK installation package, or download it via the Cloud disk (HTTP/ PAN.BAIDU.COM/S/1EQPCLTC):

1. Runtime SDK for Android v10.2.4

Thanks to the efforts of the Android team, we have joined the long-awaited spatial data support capabilities of Chinese users, and developers can take a breath and finally have no difficulty in writing data format extensions.

· Android Platform Requirements

Updated Android platform support, minimum version requires 4.0.1, which is level 14 cream Sandwich, and all SDK examples require a minimum SDK version level of 15.

· direct support for vector and raster formats

Increased ability to read spatial data directly from the device, including the most anticipated Shape files, KML, geopackages (presence of slices and vector data in SQLite), and a range of raster formats , see the following table:

· Spatial analysis (Beta)

Added local spatial analysis capabilities, thanks to fast GPU-based processing, great! Although it is still a beta version, it has been tempting to try and currently supports two types of analysis: line of sight and viewshed analysis (Viewshed). In addition: The x86 machine temporarily does not use this function.

· Geodatabase interface

Added Geodatabase Featureservicetableapi, which supports the use of online and offline geodatabases, including: Edit tracking, correlate table queries, and create Geodatabase featureservicetable from non-spatial tables. This interface is already supported in iOS SDK 10.2.3.

· Map Interaction Improvements

Added a new map view Zoom: Double-click the map and drag it up vertically to enlarge the map, then double-click the map and drag it down vertically to zoom out of the map. What kind of a racket is this? In fact, in order to support the interactive improvement of wearable devices , because the smart watch and other devices such as the relatively small screen, two fingers of the pinch is not very good. · Key API Improvements:

1. Added new Wmtslayer to support OGC WMTS services.

2. Improve Web map interface, support Image service and WMTS service.

2. Runtime SDK for IOS & OS X v10.2.4

The ArcGIS SDK also has updates for recent devices and software released by Apple: including support for the latest IOS 8 and OS X Yosemite operating systems, support for enhancements such as Xcode 6.1 and the new Swift programming language.

· iOS 8 supported

Apple recently released the latest mobile OS iOS 8 and two new devices iphone 6 & 6 Plus, while also updating the development approach, including the development tool upgrade to Xcode 6 and the release of a new programming language called Swift. To do this, the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS also corresponds to the update:

(1) Added support for Xcode 6 and iOS 8, as well as support for Xcode 5 and iOS 7, compatible with the new and old development environment.

(2) Added swift support for programming languages, although the API still needs to be used in objective-c, but because Apple provides interoperability between Swift and objective-c, developers can mix and match swift and objective-c to develop applications. It also enhances the Swift API's documentation, tutorials, and examples to help developers get started quickly.

· Supports OS X Yosemite

Mac users are concerned about the new OS X version--yosemite (about Yosemite), which is expected to be released later this year, and Apple does not officially support the use of Swift to develop OS X applications until Xcode 6.1 is released. ESRI is keeping track of its progress and plans, and will update it after the final release, releasing some examples to help OS X developers try Swift.

· Key API Improvements:

1. Sub-layer types that support the map Services dynamic service, including: adjusting the sub-layer order, changing the symbolized mode, and the visible scale bar.

2. Add a task to automatically match the spatial data to the unique values and classification symbolized by the grading scheme.

3. Support Image service in Web map to query and change the symbolic way of information window.

4. Improved operation gesture of map on OS X, support using Touchpad, keyboard and Magic mouse.

As you can see, the focus of this version of the iOS and OS X team is full support for Apple updates, and the amazing enhancements to the Android SDK release will be added to the iOS and OS X SDK in the next release, so keep your eye on it.

3. Runtime SDK for. NET v10.2.4

At the end of 2012, Microsoft released the Windows 8 platform and Windows Runtime, and Esri's WPF team discussed the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for. NET's vision, decided to create a new, shared ArcGIS native API on the Microsoft technology System, which was ready for the next two years, and now the first official version of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for. NET is released!

Given the developer experience and learning curve, the WPF developer has been provided with a guidebook to transition from the original ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF to the new SDK. As a modern, high-performance native development Api,arcgis Runtime SDK for. NET supports offline workflows, supports Shape files, supports client labeling, supports sync-enabled feature services, and more. Who can expect that the. NET SDK will contribute to nearly 3,000 participants in the test community, a myth, thanks to your feedback.
