using putty to connect to a Linux instance under Windows

Download putty and Puttygen separately: Download and open. Equivalent to AWS own FTP tool
Start PuTTY (on theStart menu, click AllPrograms > PuTTY > PuTTY).

In the category pane, select session (session) and fill in the following fields:

in host name (host name) box, enter user_name
@ public_dns_name
. Make sure that you specify the appropriate user name for your AMI.

in connection type (connection type) , select ssh.

Make sure port (port) is 22.
Expand Connection (Connect)- ssh--> Auth (authentication)- Click Browse (Browse)- Select the generated .ppk
Files -- Open (ON) Start-->session--> open
Click Yes (yes). A window opens and you are connected to your instance.
Finally the satellite landed and was exhausted. The default is Ubuntu and root two users only. However, you cannot directly use the root user directly remotely. This is the Ubuntu rule.
