The AWS Free tier is designed to help you gain hands-on experience with AWS, which you can enjoy for free for 12 months after registration.

After you create an AWS account, you can use any of the 21 products and services listed below for free under certain restrictions.

You can register now and use the AWS free tier.

1. Sign up for an AWS account.
2. Enter your billing address and credit card details. You will be charged only if your usage exceeds the free usage tier limit.
3. Choose any of the products listed below to get started with AWS.

AWS Marketplace offers more than 700 free and premium software products that can be run in the AWS free tier. If you qualify for the AWS free tier, you can use these products for up to 750 hours per month in an Amazon EC2 T2.micro instance without paying an additional fee (up to 12 months) for Amazon EC2 instances. Charges for the fee software are still applicable.

AWS free tier (per month): Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2)

• 750 hours of Amazon EC2 Linuxt2.micro Instance usage time (1 GiB of memory, 32-bit, and 64-bit platform support), sufficient for a full month of continuous operation *
• 750 hours of Amazon EC2 Microsoft Windows Server T2.micro Instance usage time (configured for 1 GiB of memory, 32-bit and 64-bit platform support), sufficient for a full month of continuous operation *
• 750 hours Elastic Load balancing plus 15GB data processing *
• 30GB Amazon Elastic Block Storage (combination of general-purpose (SSD) or magnetic media in any way) with 2 million additional I/O (with EBS magnetic media) and 1GB snapshot storage *

Simple Storage Service (S3)

• 5GB of Amazon S3 standard storage, 20,000 fetch requests and 2000 put requests. *

DynamoDB

25GB of storage, 25 read capacity units, 25 write capacity units – enough to process up to 200 million requests per month via Amazon DynamoDB. **

Relational Database Service (RDS)

Free usage in the AWS free tier is calculated once per month (all regions) and automatically applied to the bill, and free usage does not accumulate.
