Apply global changes with masters

Creating a dashboard is used to reuse resources and quickly apply them to wireframe. This section describes how to create, organize, edit, and use a dashboard.

Masters Overview

The dashboard is a set of widgets that can be reused in your files. It is usually used in headers, footers, navigation (navigation) and page templates.
The greatness of the motherboard is that you can keep the motherboard in the same place on multiple pages. Any edits on the dashboard will be applied to the page that references the dashboard. You can add mother boards and other mother boards on the page. You can add multiple parent boards on one page as needed.
For example, you have created a motherboard that consists of several button buttons. Then, change the "benefit" button to "Why choose" somewhere, And the motherboard will be updated as long as the page contains the navigation. This saves a lot of time. Use the dashboard when widgets are reused.

Organize & Design masters

*Masters pane

The Masters pane is used to create and organize the motherboard (in the lower left corner.
New: Click "add master" in the toolbar of the motherboard panel.
Rename: Slow double-click Motherboard
Delete: Select the Panel and click "delete master" in the toolbar.
Organization: Drag the motherboard panel or use the arrow in the toolbar. Click the folder icon in the toolbar to create a folder. Drag the dashboard to the folder to organize and classify the dashboard.

*Design masters

Double-click the dashboard to open the dashboard editing page in wireframe.
You can drag widgets to the page to design the dashboard, such as the design page.
You can drag an existing dashboard to the current editing dashboard page.
Tip: If you want to change some widgets that are being edited to the dashboard on the design page. You can select these widgets and right-click and choose "convert-> convert to masters. This will automatically create a motherboard containing the selected widgets.

Master Behaviors

The motherboard has three different behaviors:Normal,Place in background,Custom widget(Details are provided below ). Right-click the dashboard and choose behavior from the dashboard menu to change the behavior of the dashboard.
The behavior of the dashboard can be changed at any time, but the page for adding a new dashboard will be affected after the change. For example, if you change the behavior "Custom widget" of a motherboard to "normal", it does not affect the page where the motherboard was previously added.
If you want to change the behavior of the dashboard that already exists on the page. You can select the motherboard in wireframe and right-click the master sub-menu. The sub-menu includes the "place in background", "Remove frome background", or "flatten" option (export the widget to the parent board, so that you can edit the widget separately)

* Normal (default)

In wireframe, you can move and place your motherboard as needed.
After the normal motherboard is added to the page, there will be a pink layer. Of course, you can disable this function in "wireframe-> mask Masters" on the main menu.

*Place in background

After the dashboard is added to wireframe, the dashboard will become the background of the page and be placed in the initial position. This is useful for page templates and la S.
When added to wireframe, the palce in background motherboard has a gray layer.

* Custom widget

After the dashboard is added to wireframe, widgets in the Custom widget dashboard will lose their relationships in the original dashboard and become widgets that can be edited like other widgets. This is useful in creating class libraries with predefined attributes, comments, and/or widgets that interact with each other. (For example, a blue button in a white font)

The motherboard can be saved in a file. You can easily create a class library that stores widgets separately. This class can be shared and used by other files. You can create "Custom widget libraries"

Add masters to pages

Drag the dashboard from the dashboard panel to wireframe to add the dashboard to the page.
You may notice a colored film on the motherboard. The pink color is used for the normal panel, and the gray color is used for the place in background panel. You can cancel the selection of "Mask Masters" in the main menu to delete the film layer.
Once the motherboard is added to wireframe, you can double-click the motherboard in the motherboard panel or edit the motherboard instance in the wireframe.

The round up

Now you have a motherboard. (Sorry, we cannot help ourselves !)
