Azure Storage Explorer uses

There are times when we're doing the migration. To ensure data security, it is recommended that you copy the VHD file and create a new VM without deleting the original virtual machine

1. Open Storage Explorer, configure storage account

Select Add Account

1. Go back to Azure Portal and copy the information you need

Select a storage account and click Manage Keys

1. Enter relevant information into the Azure Storage Explorer

1. Save configuration after completion

1. Next, copy the VHD of the VM that needs to be migrated

1. When you are done copying, go back to Azure Portal, go to the compute virtual machine disk, click Create

1. Create the VHD file you just copied as a disk

Enter a name (optional)

In the VHD URL, expand to the destination container you just copied, select the VHD you just copied

Tick the VHD containing the operating system

Choose Linux or Windows Server

Click OK

1. When you are done, start deploying the virtual machine and select the my disk that you just created

1. Enter the virtual machine name (unique)

Select Type and size

1. The deployment system version is complete and the configuration and application remain the same
