Bash History function failure problem-Linux general technology-Linux programming and kernel information, the following is a detailed description. Today, I logged on to a remote server and found that the function of turning up the history record failed after the command was input.

After reading the. bash_history file, we found that the file size is 0, but the permission is correct.

Echo the SHELL and TERM environment variables again, which is also normal.

Later, echo $ HISTSIZE was found to be 0.

Find the reason, so in ~ /. Bashrc/etc/bashrc ~ /. Bash_profile/etc/profile and other files are searched, and a HISTSIZE = 0 is found at the end of/etc/profile. I don't know which guy did it.
