The following describes the detailed steps:

1. First, determine whether your BCM version is Nd (currently popular version 5354 is Nd) or normal version, and download the ddwrt firmware based on the specific version.

2. You can update the firmware or use TFTP to fl ddwrt to the route. (I don't need to talk about this flash tutorial. Remember to run the command to clear NV before refreshing it, otherwise, the password of ddwrt may be incorrect and can be reset after the password is refreshed, we recommend that you use MTD-erase-d nvram to clear NVRAM first)

3. Go to ddwrt and open the SSH service. Click service-> service menu (if you have not set it to simple Chinese, use service in English) and open the SSH service as shown in the figure below.

4. Enable the SSH service to back up and upload CFE using winscp. Specific Configuration

5. You can first upload the new CFE firmware to the/tmp directory. This is actually the same as FTP, so I will not elaborate on it. Enter the/tmp directory in winscp.

And drag the file directly into it. It is the uploaded result.

6. telnet to the vrotelnet. We recommend that you use the command to back up CFE before refreshing it, and then use the command below to refresh CFE.

Backup CFE command:

Dd If =/dev/MTD/0 of =/tmp/CFE. Bin
Dd If =/dev/MTD/3 of =/tmp/NVRAM. Bin

CFE. Bin and NVRAM. Bin are changed to the/tmp directory, and then you can use winscp to download to the local backup.

Update CFE command:

A. Run the CAT/proc/MTD command to view the CFE device, that is, the mtd0 device. If CFE is written to the device, the device written to the device is CFE.

B. The write format is MTD Write File name. The device name is shown in step)

C. Directly reboot the device.
