If you do not do this, Linux will tell you-when you use your computer again, Linux will automatically check your hard disk. If you have a large hard disk, you can leave and make a sandwich for yourself, because it will take some time. Linux runs routine checks on disks at intervals. It will show you what it is doing. It will not give you a simple message to wait and the other will tell you that you can close the computer now. If something causes a problem, the system will tell you the startup and shutdown times. In this way, if you have a problem, you can trace it. If you do not know how to solve this problem, you can tell another person that he/she will help you. To use the shutdown command, you must wait until the following message appears:

System halted
Power down before you shut off the computer.
Re-booting the computer

Restart your system

Shutdown-r now

If you have already installed a dual-boot system and want to use another system (why do you want to do this ?) You need to use this command. You will get information similar to the-h (halt) option:
