1. Manually adjust the properties of the object

When we add an object, such as a torus object.

The "Add Torus" Panel is visible in the lower-left corner, and the panel contains Locatin, Rotation, Major segments, Minor segments, and other properties, which can be manually modified directly.

If you want to adjust the ring radius of the torus, you can directly set the "Major radius", the larger the number, the larger the ring is displayed.

2.3D Coordinate tools

In the interface we can see the coordinate display with x, Y, Z. This tool provides a better mobile capability. We can move directly along each coordinate direction x or Y. For example, I now want to move the torus along the Y axis, you can directly use the left mouse button down the y-axis direction of the arrow, move the mouse up and down.

3. Moving objects

In addition to moving objects along the x, y, and z directions as described in 3, you can move objects directly by using the shortcut key "G". In addition, when you enter the free movement State (Press "G" shortcut), you can click "X" or "Y", "Z" to switch the direction of movement.

If you do not remember the above operation, when entering the free movement state, you can also press the middle mouse button to achieve the effect of moving along the X, Y, z direction.

Of course, if we do not confirm the position during the movement, we can also switch the display angle through the numeric shortcut keys 1, 3, 7来. To make it easier for us to move more precisely.

4. Rotating objects

Use the shortcut key "R" to rotate the object. Similar to 4, when the "R" key is pressed, we can also press X, Y, or Z to rotate the object along an axis.

5. Zoom in and out of objects

After selecting an object, press the "S" key to enter the zoom in and zoom out function. Move the mouse position and the object is scaled. You can also scale objects using Tools, scales.

Similarly, by pressing the "S" key, we can then press X, Y, or Z to scale the object along an axis.

6. Object modifiers

We often use object modifiers when modifying an object. The object modifier is opened through the Modifers button in the Properties panel.

The modifier contains a lot of plugins, and one of the things we often use is the "subdivision surface" that is used to subdivide the surface.

When we set the "View" value under Subvision, the finer the contour of the object, the smoother the surface looks. Of course, the requirements for rendering are even higher. The "Catmull-clark" button makes the surface more smooth. The simple button makes the comparison more coarse. There is also a shortcut button that can make the surface smooth, click the "Smooth" button under "Tools"-"shading".

Introduce a wave plugin that can add waves to an object. Under Add Modifer, select the Wave plugin. The plug-in contains properties:

The "X" or "Y" under "Motion" can be checked to allow the object to follow a wave in one direction. We can try to modify some properties on our own to see what effect the object animation has.

7. Hide/Show objects

If you want to hide an object temporarily, select the object and press the "H" key to hide the object. If you want to show hidden objects, press "ALT" + "H".
