Boxing and unpacking in Java

There are 8 basic data types in Java, with each data type having a wrapper type.

Package Type: Each of the basic data types will------corresponding to a wrapper type.

Boolean------------------>boolean

int-------------------------->integer

Packing and unpacking

Boxing: Converts the basic data type to the corresponding package type.

Integer i = 1; automatic boxing. In fact in integer.valueof ();

Unpacking: Converts the package type to a basic data type. The base data type name = the corresponding wrapper type.

Integer i = 1;

Int J = i;//Automatic unpacking;

Int J = I.intvalue ();//Manual unpacking

Why to use the wrapper data type:

Java is an object-oriented language, and the basic data types do not have object-oriented features (encapsulation).
