1. Ubuntu:

Apt-Get install SNMP snmpd

Vim/etc/default/snmpd // Delete 127.0.0.1 from the configuration file.

/Etc/init. d/snmpd restart

--------------------------------------------------------

2. RedHat/centos

Yum install-y net-snmp-utils

View the installed version snmpd-V

VI/etc/snmp/snmpd. conf

Change com2sec notconfiguser default public

Changed to com2sec notconfiguser monitoring IP Public

 

Change access notconfiggroup "" any noauth exact systemview none

Access notconfiggroup "" any noauth exact all none

 

Remove the # comment before # view all supported ded. 1 80

Service snmpd restart ------> port: 161
