Architectural Engineering project design drawings, often contains a large number of design elements, and because of the designers of individual operating habits and the late frequent drawings of communication, so that a picture of the number of layers increased exponentially.
Designers use CAD software to draw or modify the editing process, although only use a small part of the layer content, but all layers in the open drawing is automatically opened, resulting in slow program running, and even the CAD software card death, seriously affecting the efficiency.
Is there a way to quickly control the status of layers and to turn off unnecessary layers? CAD+2015 provides the layer state manager, the designer according to the requirements of the design can be arbitrary control of the changes in the drawing layer.
Step One: Open the Layer attribute manager, which is located under the ET Extensions Tool-layer tool under the Format menu.
In the CAD+2015 Layer Attribute Manager dialog box, you can see that each layer contains a name, on/off, freeze/thaw, lock/unlock, color, linearity, line width, and print style features, and the designer can modify the layer attributes as needed.
Step Two: Click on the third icon in the upper left corner of the dialog panel to select the layer state manager.
Step three: Click "New" to create a new layer state, in the Window dialog box to enter the status name and description, click OK.
Step four: Edit the status of the layer, and click "OK" when the setting is complete.
After a few simple action settings, the designer can adjust the display of some of the layers required in the Layer state manager.
Now, almost every design unit or project project's drawings will have a fixed DWG template, a specific layer. Therefore, the designer can import and export the already defined Layer state Manager file or graphic state through the input or output two functions of the CAD+2015 layer state manager, thus simplifying the drawing steps and improving the design efficiency.
