Starting with the latest version of the CentOS system, the default is mariadb instead of mysql!

Using the system's own repos installation is simple:

Yum Install mariadb Mariadb-server

Systemctl start mariadb ==> start mariadb

Systemctl enable mariadb ==> boot from

Mysql_secure_installation ==> Setting the root password and other related

mysql-uroot-p123456 ==> Test Login!
