Basic concepts:

ManualResetEvent (bool Arg), true indicates a signaled state, false indicates no signal state

Set sets the object to signaled, and if a thread calls the object's WaitOne method, it will continue to execute and will not be blocked.

Reset Sets the object to no signal and is blocked if a thread calls the object's WaitOne method.

The difference between AutoResetEvent and ManualResetEvent is that after the WaitOne is passed, it is automatically set to no signal state.
