Conversion of Chinese characters is divided into internal code conversion and simplified conversion.
The internal code conversion is simple and traditional, but it is mainly converted between the GB code and the BIG5 code.
Another simple and traditional conversion is the internal conversion of the GB code. The GB code extension set contains more than 20 thousand Chinese characters, which naturally leads to simplified and traditional conversion problems. For example, Chinese users can use the copy-paste method to copy and paste BIG5 text files from traditional Chinese files, but they are no longer BIG5 text files. Although the inner code of the page is BIG5, after copying and pasting it, it has become a traditional Chinese character of the GB inner code. It is not garbled when you paste it into the notebook, chinese Simplified windows laptops cannot recognize BIG5 codes. If you want to change this traditional Chinese character to simplified Chinese character, the general method will not work.
Therefore, do not think that traditional Chinese characters are BIG5 characters. Therefore, Chinese character conversion can be divided into four situations:
1. GB to BIG5
2. BIG5 to GB
3. Simplified Chinese characters to traditional Chinese characters (in GBK Chinese characters)
4. Traditional Chinese to simplified Chinese (same as above)
