Second, physical connection

Pix515 appearance: is a standard rack-type equipment, height of 2U, power switch and wiring behind. There are some lights on the front, such as the power supply, the normal operation of the expression; back panel

There are a number of interfaces and extension ports, we have to use the interface three: two Ethernet (RJ-45 network card) and a configuration port, the English is: ETHERNET0, ETHERNET1 and console.

The firewall is fixed to the rack, the power supply is connected, and a blue cable is brought to connect the firewall with the notebook. Note: The cable is flat, one end is the RJ-45 interface,

To connect to the console port of the firewall, the other end is a serial port, to receive the notebook on the serial port.

Iii. Initializing the Configuration program

1. Create a new super terminal

Run the HyperTerminal program in Windows.
