Step Two:

Configuring the Switch SW1 (as the primary switch)

Switch1 (config) #switch 1 Renumber 1

Switch1 (config) #switch 1 priority 10 (the device default priority is 1, the higher the priority value the greater the precedence)

Step Three:

Configuring Switch SW2 (as slave switch)

Switch2 (config) #switch 1 Renumber 2

Switch2 (config) #switch 2 priority 9

Fourth Step:

• Correct connection (the second module of the SWITCH1 is connected to the first module of the SWITCH2, the second module of the SWITCH1 is connected to the second module of the SWITCH2, resulting in redundancy)
