Cisco VSS License Upgrade steps:
1. Close standby all non-VSL ports
int range Gigabitethernet 2/2/1-12
Sh
int range Gigabitethernet 2/3/1-12
Sh

2. Install license on active:
License Install Bootflash:SPE16220060_201309210212042440.lic

3. Close the VSL port on active
int RA tengigabitethernet 1/1/2-4
Sh

4. Install License on standby:
License Install Bootflash:SPE16300069_201309210212562900.lic

5. Verify that the standby VSL port is not shutdown, restart the standby device
Reload

6. When the standby is restarted, turn on the active VSL port:
int RA tengigabitethernet 1/1/2-4
No sh

7. When standby is in Sso-hot mode, turn on all closed ports:
int range Gigabitethernet 2/2/1-12
No sh
int range Gigabitethernet 2/3/1-12
No sh

8, in Switch two active/standby, confirm license Effective:
Redundancy Force-switchover
SH license image levels

9. Enable Ipbase:
License Boot level Ipbase
