CitrixVDI3. Configure Disks
The disk configured in this article provides a disk for the host of the virtual desktop that the user connects to in the VDI. The disk is stored on the PVS server and can be configured on the PVS console without any third-party tools.
Open the PVS console manager from the program
Click Connect to group
Enter the PVS server name to start the connection.
Status displayed after opening
Click stores to create a storage location
Enter a storage location name and select a site
Click Add to enter the log address.
Enter the storage address in the default store path.
Click OK to complete the operation.
Then, click Create disk in create OK storage to create a disk.
In filename, enter the disk name. The above site is the current default site, and the server is also the default PVS. In sizemb, enter the disk size. For details, refer to size: XP: 10g, 2003: 20g, Vista, and win7: 30G Other fixed is a fixed-size disk, dynamic is a dynamic expansion disk, we recommend using a fixed disk! The 8192mb is 8 GB, and it is intended to create a virtual desktop for XP. Oh, I don't want to install software or anything. 8 GB is almost the same.
Then you can see the disk.
Right-click disk-properties Properties
Click Edit File
Use ad account management, select the option and confirm
On the server name PVS in servers
Click options advanced options to enable automatic password management
You need to restart the service. If you have configured PVS to use a network account to start the PVS service, you will be prompted that you do not have the permission to start the service. Therefore, we should use a local account in the previous article.
After the restart, we click Mount vdisk on stor to mount the disk to the local device.
Format required
Format it to NTFS.
Format confirmation
Complete formatting
Click unmount to uninstall mount.
Create a template for the disk in the virtual desktop Group
Right-click collection and choose create device.
Enter a name for vdisk and click OK.
Created
On the disk, right-click Properties properties settings.
Click Add to add the storage to be used for this device.
Find the stor device we created in the data directory, click to select and click OK to complete the settings
Click OK to complete the settings
Right-click the set device as template, which indicates the default template! OK. After the disk is set up, we can select an XP physical machine to connect to the storage.
