Create an adjustment layer
Click the new Adjustment layer button at the bottom of the Layer palette and select the type of layer you want to create. or select Layer > New adjustment layer and choose options from the submenu. Then name the layer, set the other layer options, and click the OK button.
Adjust the use and modification of the layer
