When you open multiple Word2003 document windows, users can compare the two windows in multiple Word documents side-by-step, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open two or more Word2003 document windows, and then click the window → compare by side menu command on the menu bar.
Step 2nd, select the name of a Word document in the Open Comparison by side dialog box, and click the OK button, as shown in Figure 2009110203.

The current Word2003 document and the selected Word document will be displayed side-by-side in the window, and the compare by Side toolbar will also appear. There is a sync scrolling button on the Compare Side by Side toolbar, and if the button is selected, the two Word2003 document window's workspaces will scroll synchronously. When you scroll through the current Word2003 Document Workspace window, another window scrolls at the same time, which facilitates the observation and comparison of Word document content between different documents. If the Sync scrolling button is not selected, another document does not scroll synchronously when you scroll through the current Word Document Workspace window, as shown in Figure 2009110204.

If you want to close the Word2003 document to compare the window side by side, you can click the close compare Side by Side button on the comparison toolbar, or you can select the close side-by comparison command on the Window menu, as shown in Figure 2009110205.
