Confidential operations-hide yourself on the network

The basic concepts such as IP cloud are not introduced much.

To hide yourself on the network, you can simply hide or change the IP address and MAC address. The following three methods are available:

1. Hide IP Address

2. Change the MAC address of the NIC.

3. Update IP address.

Hide IP Address

Method: use the software Hide IP ng, free of charge

Download the full setup file version. The latest version is Hide IP ng 1.64. The file is not large, 849 K. The address of this version is

After the download, the installation is running. After the installation, there is a small icon on the rightmost side of the taskbar. Right-click the icon and you can have other settings. However, the IP address is hidden by default after startup.

Change the MAC address of the NIC

Command to view the MAC address; ipconfig/all

Change Procedure:

1. Select "my computer", right-click it, and click "manage"

2. Click "Device Manager"

3. Find "network adapter", find the appropriate network adapter, right-click it, and choose "properties"

4. Click "advanced", find network address, and click

5. Select "value" and enter a 12-bit MAC value in the input box. "-" is not required in the middle.

6. Complete. You can restart the instance if necessary.

Update IP address.
