Confluence 6 Download and install MySQL driver

License-based now, we have not bundled MySQL database into confluence. You need to have your database driver available in confluence:

  1. Stop confluence.
  2. Access the Database JDBC Drivers page and download the correct driver. The driver files are compared and tagged as similarmysql-connector-java-5.1.xx-bin.jar
  3. Place the. jar file <installation-directory>/confluence/WEB-INF/lib in your directory.
  4. Restart Confluence, then access the http://localhost:<port> confluence installation process in the browser and then continue.
