Connect to Raspberry Pi's X-Windows GUI on OS X

It took me a few minutes to install the Raspberry Pi. the installation process is simple. connect the mouse, keyboard, Wi-Fi adapter (dongle), and power supply. select the operating system in the pop-up menu after startup. I chose Raspian. wait until it enters the system.

I am not a cold-blooded animal-dare to put Pi where my son can get it. therefore, after starting the SSH service, I pulled out all the other things except the power supply. then find a safe place and put Pi in place so that he won't touch his dirty hands.

This is the case, but I still want to directly access this little item. the next step is to remotely start X session from my MacBook. in fact, the whole process is very simple, but I found that a lot of information about this is wrong. so I want to correct it here.

• Download XQuartz. this is the X11 terminal simulator provided by OS X. if you use spotlight to search for X11, you can still find it. however, if you click it, OS X will automatically jump to this page.

• Use ssh-Y pi @ <your ip address> to connect to Pi. Some information on the Internet may suggest you use the-X option (meaning X windows). This is not correct.

If you want the mouse clicks on the desktop to take effect, open preferences of X11 and) on the tab, find "Full-screen mode" and open it. this full screen mode is not as useful as OS X. no way. This is life, not everything goes well. to exit full screen mode, press Command-Option-.
