Connect Windwos to Ubuntu 16.04 Remote Desktop
I found a lot of methods on the Internet, but I couldn't do it. I finally found this. Linux Remote Windows is much more convenient, just use the built-in Remote Desktop client.
1. Set Ubuntu 16.04 to allow remote control
Enable desktop sharing in Dash
2. Run dconf-editor to remove the encryption option.
Www.bkjia.com @ ubuntu :~ $ Sudo apt-get install dconf-editor // install dconf-editor
Www.bkjia.com @ ubuntu :~ $ Dconf-editor // run dconf-editor
Or enable desktop sharing in Dash.
Expand org-> gnome-> desktop-> remote-access in sequence
You can also directly set remote control options here, but it is important to remove "requre-encryption.
3. Go back to Windows, run vnc viewer, enter the ubuntu IP address, and everything is OK.
Enter the password set in desktop sharing.
Successful!
