Author: User

In a UNIX system, for example, Solaris, a file in DOS format is displayed as one ^ m at the end of each line.
There are two processing methods:
1. VI editing replacement method
Open the file in the VI Editor, Shift +: Enter the command mode, enter the following command "% S/^ m/g", that is, use blank characters (not spaces) replace ^ m. ^ Is played by Ctrl + V, and m is by Ctrl + M.
2. Tool Conversion
In Unix systems, tools such as dos2unix and unix2dos are generally available. dos2unix (/bin/dos2unix in solaris10) can be used to convert DoS Files to Unix.
