Convert Word to a picture detail tutorial in Word2003

In the actual use of Word2003, many friends need to convert Word documents into pictures. The way to convert a Word document to a PDF file and then save it as a JPEG picture file is feasible, but you need to install a paid PDF to translate word commercial software. In fact, with the help of Windows and office itself, you can also achieve the purpose of converting word into pictures.

1. Insert Word object and convert to JPEG picture

If the Word document you want to convert to a picture has only one page, you can convert the Word document to a picture by inserting the Word object in Word2003, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, create a new Word document, click the Insert → object menu command in the menu bar, and Open the Object dialog box. Switch to the Create by File tab, click the Browse button to locate and select the Word document you want to convert to a picture, as shown in Figure 2008072311.

Step 2nd, right-click the inserted Word file object, and select the Copy command. Then open the Paint program, perform the Paste command and save as a picture file in JPEG format, as shown in Figure 2008072312.

2. Convert to JPEG pictures using Office Tools

The Microsoft Office Document Image Writer Virtual printer, provided with the OFFICE2003 tool component, Microsoft Office Document image, Users can print a Word document into a TIFF-formatted picture file and then convert the TIFF-formatted picture file to a picture file in JPEG format by using the Office2003 tool to build Microsoft Office Pictures Manager. If both of these Office tool components are not installed, you will need to install them using the OFFICE2003 installation CD or installation source files. The steps to convert a Word document to a JPEG picture using both of these tools are described below:

Step 1th, open the Word document that you want to convert to a picture, click the file → print menu command in the menu bar, and open the Print dialog box. Select the Microsoft Office Document Image writer Virtual printer in the list of printers and click the Properties button, as shown in Figure 2008072313.

Step 2nd, in the Open Printer Properties dialog box, switch to the Advanced tab, select the tiff-black and white Fax Radio box, and select the "Ultra Fine (300DPI)" option for the print resolution. Set the location where the print build picture file is saved, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2008072314.

Step 3rd, return to the Print dialog box, enter 1 in the page Number range edit box to print page 1th (you must choose to print every page, if you choose to print all pages, you can print only page 1th), and then click OK, as shown in Figure 2008072315.

Step 4th, open the Save As dialog box, set the file name, and click the Save button. The file name containing the ordinal number is automatically used when the page is printed, as shown in Figure 2008072316.

Step 5th, when you finish printing, open the folder where the TIFF pictures are located. Right-click one of the print-generated TIF files and select Open as Microsoft Office picture Manager, as shown in Figure 2008072317.

Step 6th, select the TIFF check box in the Automatically open File Types dialog box and click OK, as shown in Figure 2008072318.

Step 7th, in the Microsoft Office Picture Manager menu bar, click the file → export menu command, select the file export format in the Open Export task pane as the JPEG File Interchange Format, and click OK. As shown in Figure 2008072319.

Step 8th, click the shortcut button, and in the Shortcuts pane, click to select the folder where the TIFF file resides. All the picture files in the folder are displayed in the main pane, and the TIFF file is selected and exported to the JPEG file in turn, as shown in Figure 2008072320.
