Sometimes the system is suspended during running, and sometimes it is automatically restarted. We need to analyze the relevant situation. Crash Dump is mainly related to software, and HPMC is usually related to hardware. Put them together for writing mainly because of their similarities. Crash Dump stores the content in the memory to the hard disk for further analysis when the system fails. The detailed description of how to do the analysis is not in the scope of this article. Next we will focus on the types of crash dump and how to collect and handle it. Crash Dump can be divided into the following three types:
1. Panic: panic is a process in which the operating system calls relevant processes.
2. TOC: transfer of control. TOC may occur in several cases:
