Create your own template with the Word template feature

Each time you enter word, the system automatically creates a new blank document and assigns a document called Document 1. What we use in practice is not the default setting. such as the school office often upload, release files, each time the contents of the file after recording, will be the font, font size, paper type and many other settings. Is there a way to simplify the setup of your document so that you can open the formatted document each time you create a new blank document? Any Word document is created on a template basis. Templates determine the basic structure and style of a document, which is a style that contains elements such as paragraph structure, font style, and page layout. When we created a new document, we actually opened a file called "Normal.doc." The location of the file is generally located in: C:windowsapplication Datamicrosofttemplates (also available from the Start menu to find a location) folder, the specific method is as follows:
1. Open the "Normal.doc" document under the C:windowsapplication datamicrosofttemplates folder and change the settings to the style you want;
2. Click "Save as" in the File dropdown menu, enter the file name to save in the Save As dialog box, select "Document Template", and click OK;
3. Finally close the document window. Each time you open this file, its default format is the format you set in step 1th.
Edit tip: 1. This method has no effect on the original document Normal.doc;
2. This method also applies to WPS. Just "Normal.wps" is located in the C\wps2000\template directory.
