Liquefied petroleum cylinders are widely used in our daily life, making our life more convenient and comfortable. However, it is inflammable and explosive, so there is a great danger in both transportation and use. Many major liquefied petroleum gas fires have occurred at home and abroad, and explosion accidents have caused great losses to people's lives and property. Illegal filling and incorrect use are the direct causes of the accident.
The correct use of Liquefied Petroleum cylinder should first check the appearance of the cylinder to determine whether it meets the requirements:
1. From the color perspective, the bottle should be silver-gray, and the top should contain the Big Red words (liquefied petroleum gas) and the name of the filling unit. For example, the rusty and non-Lacquer cylinder cannot be used.
2. Gas Cylinders without any manufacturing marks; or gas cylinders with manufacturing plants, but not from designated State plants, cannot be used.
3. The gas cylinder without warning labels and the gas cylinder without filling station steel marks with a filling license on the shield cannot be used.
4. cylinder guard refers to the gas cylinder that is loose or detached, and the cylinder whose base is detached, deformed, or other defects affect its upright position.
5. Gas Cylinders without inspection marks or expired and uninspected gas cylinders cannot be used. (15kg liquefied petroleum gas cylinders are inspected every 4 years)
6. On the gas cylinder, the decommissioned gas cylinders whose life has exceeded 15 years cannot be used.
7. The bottle valve should be sealed intact without leakage.
8. The gas cylinder with longitudinal or spiral welds cannot be used.
However, we should pay more attention to the following:
1. Use the gas cylinder provided by the filling unit that has obtained the filling license.
2. You are not allowed to refill the bottle.
3. the gas cylinder should be placed in a shadow place to avoid moisture. It should be at least 1 meter apart from the hearth plate and heating. It is strictly prohibited to bake or soak in hot water, use the sun or put it upside down. The angle valve should be closed for mobile gas cylinders. Impact, stacked and rolling are prohibited during transportation.
4. check whether there is liquefied petroleum smell in the room and whether there is air leakage before ignition.
5. Check whether the hose is aging or leaking at any time, whether the connection between the two ends of the tube is tight, and whether the pressure reducing valve is faulty.
6. When using the liquefied petroleum gas stove, the gas should be ignited first and then opened (the valve should not be opened too large during ignition). Use it to prevent overflow of items in the pot from boiling, extinguish the fire and run the gas in case of fire and explosion.
In the case of a fire, the angle valve should be immediately closed and fire-extinguishing measures should be taken. At the same time, articles such as quilts should be soaked in water to cover the gas cylinder, which can also achieve the goal of suffocation and fire-extinguishing.
