These settings are saved during farm content and configuration backup, but some of these settings, such as service application proxy settings, cannot be restored during farm recovery.
Central Administration content: sharepoint_admincontent
Treats the Central administration content database as a configuration database. It stores all site content, in addition to the user name and permissions for the Central Administration site collection, including site documents or files, list data, and Web Part properties in the document library. All data for a particular site collection resides only in one content database on a single server. Content databases can be associated with multiple site collections.
If you deployed Office Web apps, the content database also contains the Microsoft Office Web Apps cache. Only one cache is created for each WEB application. If multiple site collections that are stored in different content databases are activated for Office Web Apps, they will all use the same cache. You can configure cache size, expiration, and location.
If PowerPivot for SharePoint is installed in the environment, the content database also stores its user data.
