Develop a campus e-map project based on Mapxtreme for Java, using MapInfo to draw maps to give users real-time knowledge of the campus and surrounding geographic information of the Guangzhou Institute of South China University of Science and Engineering.
Research content:
The campus electronic map system is divided into 4 functional modules to achieve:
1, Map zoom in, zoom out and roaming function module: In order to be able to clearly view the details of a corner of the map, understand the location of the school and the school's geographical planning. Users can zoom in on the area of interest in the electronic map to learn more clearly, zoom in the way to the center of the mouse click to expand the map around the display, you can also use drag to enlarge the place you need to zoom in. Because the frame size of the map display is fixed, in the zoomed-in state, the other areas that are not displayed can not be displayed in real time, so the reduction function is very critical, with the reduced function, the user can zoom out after understanding the map to see other places, if the page display does not meet the user's search needs, You can use the left mouse button to drag the map directly to achieve the ability to move the map.
2, Map features query function module: If the user does not want such trouble in the electronic map to find the required information can be directly through the Figure Query function module to find their own interests, convenient for freshmen and parents to find.
3, Map distance measurement function module: The user can be the current position and want to go to the location of measurement, access to information.
4, Map Eagle Eye function module: mainly to solve the user in the operation of zooming and dragging can not be intuitive to find the location of an entity. is on the page in addition to displaying a large map, at the same time showing a smaller size dedicated to positioning the entire map, through the mouse click Eagle Eye Small map to trigger the display of the main diagram
