Subversion is a free/open source version control system in which a group of files are stored in a central repository, recording every change in files and directories, and subversion allows data to be restored to an earlier version, or to examine the history of data modification, Subversion can access its version library over the network, allowing users to operate on different computers.
Subversion is an excellent version control tool, with its specific advantages and detailed descriptions, which are no longer mentioned here.
First download and build the SVN server.
Now that subversion has migrated to the Apache website, download the address:
Http://subversion.apache.org/packages.html
This is the binary package download address, you can find the source code in the left-hand navigation bar, the document's download address.
There are 5 kinds of binary packages underneath the Windows operating system, as shown in the figure:
Personally think it is best to use the VISUALSVN Server service and TORTOISESVN clients.
Click on the VISUALSVN connection above to download the VISUALSVN server, as shown in figure:
Then download TORTOISESVN client, website download address: http://tortoisesvn.net/downloads.html
Note: Download the installation package that matches your computer, and you can find the language pack below the page , as shown:
When the download is complete, you should install the package as shown in the figure

VISUALSVN Server Installation Package
Install the VISUALSVN Server installation package first, and double-click the VISUALSVN Server installation package, as shown in the figure:
Click Next to go to the next step, as shown in figure:
Point agree to the next step in the diagram, as shown in figure:
Select one of the above options, click Next, and go to the next step, as shown in figure:
Location refers to the VISUALSVN server's installation directory, Repositorys specifies your version library directory. Server port specifies a port, use secure connection Shan indicates a safe connection, using Subversion authentication represents the use of subversion's own user authentication. Click Next to go to the next step, as shown:
Point install and go to the next step, as shown in figure:
Wait for installation to complete, as shown in figure:
When the installation is complete, start VisualSVN Server Manager, as shown in the figure:
Next we install TORTOISESVN, double-click the installation package, and go to the next step. As shown:

Select Accept, then click Next to go to the next step, as shown in figure:
Select the installation path, then click Next to go to the next step, as shown:
Click Install to start the installation, as shown in figure:
Wait for installation to complete, after installation is completed as shown:
Next we install the Simplified Chinese Language pack, this is very simple, all the way next on the line, there will be no screenshots. After the language pack installation is complete, click the right mouse button in any blank space on the desktop, and then find SVN in the right-click menu, as shown in figure:
Select settings and go to the next step, as shown in figure:
In the right language to choose Simplified Chinese, and then click on the application, OK, Chinese is completed, as shown:
