Disable the IPV6 protocol in RHEL-Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. For more information, see. The system is installed in the past two days using RHEL5. After the installation, ifconfig can still see the ipv6 address. It is not easy to set NETWORK_IPV6 to no in/etc/sysconfig/network, delete all ipv6-related scripts in/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. In addition, rmmod is referenced and cannot be uninstalled.

Later, I found a solution on the Internet, which is to set it in modprobe. conf without loading the ipv6 module:

Echo "alias net-pf-10 off">/etc/modprobe. conf

It worked. It seems that the Red Hat Enterprise Edition has such a big bug!
