Disk D disappears disk management console view is not the latest status solution (no disk space required)

Symptom: Disk D disappears. Although it can be displayed in the disk manager, there is no drive letter.

Cause: I installed the pqmagic partition software, which is incompatible with Windows 7. During installation, the system reports an error and shuts down after countdown. When you start the instance again, the D disk disappears. This should be the partition table.

Solution:

① If you have a disk management software that can convert partition attributes. Replace the lost disk with the Master/Slave attribute!

② No? I recommend one. First install the acornis disk director10 software, http://down.vista123.com/acronisdiskdirector10.rar. It is best to use the original English version.

③ Because the number of persons downstairs said that they will not be installed during installation. I will describe the installation steps in detail. Skip the installation. After the download, there is a registration machine in the compressed package. During installation, you must enter a registration code and use the registration machine to register the version (~~ Director10. Here I record a registration code FD77T-D7FU6-R3ZF6-WB8GL-EH6AN for ease of use. (Uninstall it after use. Must support genuine !!!).

In the next step, the typical installation (typical), custom installation (custom), and the last one are all three complete. It also needs to be uninstalled. Install it all (in fact, it is enough to select a custom one, and the second reboot function is not used ). Next, I will ask whether to install it to all users or the current user. Select the current user (curretn user) below. Then pocceed performs OK. The installation is completed in about 10 seconds. Restart. Be sure to restart.

④ After the installation is successful, enable the software,

When you start the software for the first time, it will ask you whether to use the wizard mode or the manual mode. Select the manual mode because the wizard mode is too simple.

Then, let's look down and see your missing drive letter? Select the lost disk (that is, click drive D with the mouse ,).

Next, let's look at the left-side Navigation Pane with the advanced (advanced) option, the convert option (the second option in 1), and click. (Figure 1) (figure 2)

The dialog box 2 is displayed. This is used to change the file format and Master/Slave partition attributes of disk D. We mainly use the function to change the attributes of the Master/Slave disk (that is, the second drop-down box ). If the original drive D (that is, the missing drive letter) is primary partition (primary partition), change it to logical partition (logical partition); if it is a logical (logical ), change to primary (primary partition ).

I followed this method, but it did not solve the problem. Based on this method, I set a volume label for the disk that cannot set the drive letter. After adding this label, choose computer -- manage -- find the disk without the drive letter, right click -- set the drive letter, you can add a drive letter, and then you can see the drive in my computer.
