1: Check whether the hard drive file system is FAT32 or NTFS
Open "my computer", right-click the drive letter, for example, drive D, and click "properties", and you will see whether the file system is FAT32 or NTFS.
2: display the "Security" tab in the folder attribute of the NTFS file system.
If the file system type of drive d Is NTFS, But the Security tab is not displayed in the folder attribute, follow the steps below to set:
Open "my computer", click "Tools"> "Folder Options" in the menu bar, switch to the "View" tab, and find "use simple file sharing (recommended)" in it )", remove the check box above it. Now, you can re-view a folder attribute in disk D, which contains the "Security" tab.
3: display the "Security" tab in the folder attribute of the FAT32 file system.
To achieve this goal, you can only convert the file system type of the disk from FAT32 to NTFS. The conversion method is as follows:
(1) StartProgramAttachment Command Prompt (or enter "cmd" in the running ");
(2) After opening the window, enter "Convert E:/Fs: NTFS/V" at the cursor prompt and press Enter. Note that there is a space behind "Covert.
Here is the conversion of the E disk. If you want to convert the C disk, change e to C;
(3) then the system will ask you to enter the volume mark of disk X and press Enter.
The volume is marked as X in "My Computer", and its properties can be found, or you can enter "vol C:" in the command line to view the volume label of drive C.
In this way, you can simply convert the partition format to NTFS. This method is only used to convert FAT32 to NTFS and does not convert NTFS to FAT32. The file information will not be lost.
