Distance vector protocol: Route entries are transmitted, network visibility is only one hop, computing routing is based on neighbors, and loops may occur. ----- Link Status Protocol Based on the Bellman algorithm: transmits link information (MAP fragment); visibility is the entire topology; computing routing is based on oneself; basically no loops. --- Based on the SPF (Shortest Path First) algorithm, distance vector protocols include RIP, IGRP, VPN, and BGP.
