General description
Mt7697 is a highly integrated single chip featuring an application processor with a low power consumption of 1x1. 11N single-band Wi-Fi subsystem, Bluetooth subsystem, and Power Management Unit. This application processor subsystem contains an arm CORTEX-M4 with floating point MCU. It also includes many peripheral devices, including UART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PWM, IRDA, and auxiliary ADC. It also includes Embedded SRAM/ROM.
The subsystem only contains one WiFi 802.11b/g subsystem and Radio/N, baseband that are designed to Mac, meeting the needs of low power and high throughput both the application. It also contains a 32-bit CPU, which can be fully detached from the application processor. The Bluetooth subsystem includes Bluetooth radio, baseband, and link controller. It also uses the same 32-bit CPU for Bluetooth.

PMU Architecture
PMU integrates five LVS and one buck converter.
The four LVS are cldo, Aldo, high-voltage sldc (SLDO-H), and low-voltage SLVs (SLDO-L ). Sldc represents the sleep mode, while cldo represents the Digital Core. Buck Converter 1.6 ~ 1.8v is output to other subsystems of mt7697. It can run in PFM or PWM mode. Outputs low ripple through the LC filter (2.2uh Inductor and 10uf cover) on the external Board. 1.6 ~ 1. 8 V to wi-fi RF system, Bluetooth RF system and cldo. Cldo is under the buck domain, and then it outputs 1.15v for the digital logic of the entire chip. Aldo is also a power input from the 3.3v chip and generates 2.5 V for the auxiliary ADC. The two sbrs have output voltages of 1.8v and 0.85 V respectively. They are used to keep the buck and cldo output voltage while mt7697 is in sleep mode to reduce. Current consumption.
CPU
Mt7697 has an arm CORTEX-M4 processor, which is the most energy-saving ARM processor. Available. It supports clock rates from 1 MHz to MHz. The MCU executes the thumb-2 instruction set for optimal performance and code size, including hardware division, single-cycle multiplication, and bit-field operations.
