This package is external to Visual Studio 2010ProgramUsed to provide tools for Microsoft Silverlight 4 and RIA services. It can be installed on Visual Studio 2010 or visual web developer 2010 quick release. It extends the existing Silverlight 3 Functions and multi-targeting functions in Visual Studio 2010, so that you can use C # Or Visual Basic to create applications for Silverlight 4.
Silverlight 4 tools for Visual Studio 2010 includes multiple features:

• Supports development for Silverlight 4 in the Silverlight designer and Project System
• Ria services application templates and libraries
• Supports enhanced trust and out-of-browser applications of Silverlight 4 and other new Silverlight 4 features, including
  • Use implicit Style
    • You can use "go to value definition" to directly switch from page to style
    • Style intelliisense allows you to easily modify styles.
  • Use data source window output
    • You can drag and drop data from the data source window and view the data bucket. This allows you to conveniently select and modify data source information.
    • You can use the "Grid rows and columns" context menu to add, delete, and reorder DSW output.
    • Move controls on the form and use the margin editor to change the alignment mode in batches
    • Add sample data, view item templates and bindings during design
  • Use an application outside the Silverlight 4 Browser
