Microsoft has released the latest version of Windows Live Messenger, version 8.1.0106.00. It is a public test version, including the Simplified Chinese version.

Geographic location recognition: the display name (nickname), status, and personalized information can be roaming to any computer.

Contact card redesign: more intelligent, more information, more convenient contact with friends

New Expressions (illustrations), cartoons, backgrounds, and pictures

The "logout" option is added to the status menu: you can exit the account at any time.

Text message phone book: You can add Contacts and send text messages more quickly.
