A new Firefox-based browser flock debuted, claiming to bring users a new Web 2.0 experience. the first flock browser is only a preview version. It integrates the next-generation network technologies such as RSS, blog, bookmarks, and image sharing, and has a number of features not available in browsers.
One of the most important features of Flock is that it has a blog editor that can work with WordPress, movable type, typepad, and blogger. It can also share images in the blog through simple drag and drop operations, it even has a clipboard that can store webpage content for ease of use in the blog.
Flock also has built-in RSS functions.
Other major features of Flock include: multiple automatic control functions; Improved bookmarkmarking system, easier site collection and management; integration of the open source search engine clucene and Google, Yahoo, Amazon, and eBay; page indexes are automatically generated to facilitate future viewing. You can clear them at any time to protect your privacy. Multiple auxiliary tool bars allow you to switch between them.
The 0.7.12 flock maintenance patch incyclates Mozilla's 1.5.0.11 patch for Firefox.
