This tutorial is adapted to the Dreamweaver MX 2004 advanced techniques based on the Tao Dreamweaver mx step tutorial .
An IFRAME is also known as an inline frame, which is similar to an inline frame and a frames page, which embeds the frames and contents of a Web page in an existing Web page.
Starting with the Dreamweaver MX, you can visualize the operation of the IFRAME and no longer require third-party plug-ins.
Insert IFrame
1. Click the "Insert Panel" tab "tag Selector"
2. In the Label Selector dialog box, select the IFrame tab and click the Insert button.
3. In the Label Editor-iframe dialog box, follow the panel prompts. The two most basic items are "source" and "name". Source: Click the "Browse" button to select the page file to appear in the IFRAME.
Name: The name entered, will be the identity of this IFRAME, other links if you want to open this iframe, the page open "target" to enter this "name". Width and Height: You can enter a pixel value, or you can enter 100%. Margin width and margin height: setting and perimeter label margins. Align: set alignment. Scrolling: Sets whether scroll bars are allowed to appear. Show border: Select whether the border appears.
Set the link to open in an IFRAME
Select the link, and manually enter the name of the target IFRAME in the target item in the Properties panel.

IFrame Transparent
To make the IFRAME content the same as the Web page background, you need to make the IFRAME transparent.
In the Label Editor-iframe dialog box, select the browser-specific project card, and select Allow transparency.
Framework contains applications
In the Label Editor-iframe dialog box, select the browser-specific project card and select framework include application.
Alternative content of IFRAME
In some browsers that do not support IFRAME, the IFRAME cannot be displayed. You will need to enter an alternate content.
In the Tag Editor-iframe dialog box, select the Alternate content option to enter code or text in the alternative.
