The following properties, if not set, can be left blank.

Fonts: Sets the font for the style. DW MX 2004 has a built-in 6 series of English fonts (pictured below).

General English fonts often use "Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif" This series is more beautiful, if you do not use these font series, you can create a new font family by using the "Edit Font list" at the bottom of the dropdown list. The default font for Chinese Web pages is the song body, which is generally left blank. Browser preferred user system The first font displays text. Both browsers support font properties.

Size: Defines the text size. You can select a specific size by selecting numbers and units of measure, or you can choose a relative size. In pixels, you can effectively prevent browsers from morphing text.

Note: The length units in the CSS are divided into absolute length units and relative length units.

Absolute Length:

PX: (pixel) determines the length according to the resolution of the Monitor.

PT: (font size) determines the length according to the font size defined by the Windows system.

In, CN, MM: (inches, centimeters, millimeters) to determine the length according to the actual size of the display. Such units do not change with the resolution of the display.

Relative Length:

EM: The size of the current text. For example: {font-size:3em} refers to a text size of 3 times times the original.

Ex: The height of the current letter "X", which is generally half the size of the font.

%: Defines dimensions as a percentage of the current text. For example: {font-size:200%} refers to a text size of twice times the original.

Style: Specifies "normal", "italic", or "oblique body" as the font style. The default setting is "normal".

Row height: Sets the height of the line where the text is located. Select "Normal" to automatically calculate the row height of the font size, or enter an exact value and select a unit of measure. A more intuitive use of the percentage, such as 200%, refers to the line higher than the size of the text twice times. The corresponding CSS property is "Line-height".

Adornments: Adds an underscore, underline, or strikethrough to the text, or flashes the text. The default setting for normal text is none. The default setting for the link is underline. When you set the link settings to none, you can delete the underline in the link by defining a special class. These effects can exist at the same time, and the check boxes before the effects are selected. The corresponding CSS property is "Text-decoration".

Thickness: Applies a specific or relative amount of bold to the font. "Normal" equals 400; "bold" Equals 700. The corresponding CSS property is "Font-weight".

Variable: Sets the small capital letter variable for the text. DW MX 2004 does not display this property in the document window. Note: Internet Explorer supports variable attributes, but is not supported by Netscape Navigator.

Capitalization: capitalizes the first letter of each word in the selection or sets the text to all uppercase or lowercase. Both browsers support the case property.

Color: Sets the text color.

When you are finished setting these options, select another CSS category on the left side of the panel to set additional style properties, or click OK.
