The reason for this is that we have provided a fixed height for the table, and when we want to change the height of the table, especially when the table is compressed, the height of the table remains the same, and the intuitive image is that no matter how you drag the border of the table, the height of the table doesn't change.

In this case, we just need to get rid of the table height setting, and then drag the table's border. So how do you get rid of the height setting of the table?

First you need to select a table. The easiest way to do this is to move the cursor into the table and press CTRL + A to see if it doesn't select the smallest table where the cursor is located.

When the table is selected, click the Clear Row Height icon in the property box (the button on the box in the picture), and the table height setting is canceled. The height of the table automatically matches the height of the table according to its contents.

Of course, the way to remove table height is not only one of the above methods, we can also select the table, in the table's property box directly delete the table height values.

Similarly, this method also applies to changing the width of the table, except that when the table is selected, it is not the height of the row, but the width of the column.

In this way, you can easily adjust the height of the table.
