Sometimes, when you browse a webpage, the download takes a long time because the image files in the webpage are too large. If the download is not completed, many viewers will be impatient, thus losing the customer stream. However, to reduce the image file size, it may be at the cost of image quality. This will inevitably make the webpage less attractive and will not satisfy the website maker.
How can we ensure that there are both exquisite images without the download time being too long? This can be achieved by calling the Preload Images Action in Dreamweaver. It can pre-load large Images to the browser's high-speed buffer storage file, which can prevent the download image delay. The following example is used to introduce it to friends:
1. Run the Dreamweaver application and import an image.
2. Select an image and click the behavior tab. In this panel, click the Add Event button. A drop-down menu is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

3. Click the "preload image" command in the menu. In the displayed dialog box, click browse, select the newly loaded image file, and click "OK ".
In this way, you can set the image to be downloaded, which will greatly increase the speed when downloading the image in the browser.
