First, find the edit Catalina.bat in the Tomcat/bin directory,

After adding set catalina_opts=-server-xdebug-xnoagent-djava.compiler=none-xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend= n,address=5888

Next, open a Java page in Eclipse, right-click Debug as-->debug Configurations Open the Settings window, select Remote Java Application. If there is no applicationcontextloadlistern, add a new one, set the port to just 5888 in Tomcat, click Debug. Note that you need to turn on Tomcat before you click Debug. And every time you restart Tomcat, you have to open this page and click Debug Once.
