Eclipse Oxygen Creating a MAVEN Web project (i)

1. Create a new MAVEN project first (default is the project packaged as a jar)

You can also build a war-type Maven project, and you'll need to manually create some missing folders anyway.

2. Modify the package type parameters of the Pom.xml

Default jar-type package, modified to war

<packaging>war</packaging>

3. Update the project MAVEN configuration

4. You may be prompted to create the file manually by missing the Web. Xml.

5. Fill in a src/main/resources directory, and a MAVEN Web project box is now complete.
