Elasticsearch-head is a Elasticsearch cluster management tool, which is a standalone web program written entirely by HTML5, and you can integrate it into ES via plugins. or directly download the source code, open index.html locally to run it. The GIT address for this tool is: Https://github.com/Aconex/elasticsearch-head
Plug-in Installation method:
1, Elasticsearch/bin/plugin-install Aconex/elasticsearch-head
2. Run ES
3. Open http://localhost:9200/_plugin/head/
If you don't want to integrate the plugin into ES, you can download the source directly from Git and run it locally.
Enter the IP address and Port point of the ES server in the address bar to connect to the cluster. Here is the view after the connection. This is the main interface, where you can see the basic information of the ES cluster (e.g. node situation, index situation).
Some buttons on the right side of the interface, such as node stats, cluster nodes, are APIs that directly request the relevant state of ES, and return results as JSON, such as:
There is an info and action two buttons below the index. Info is the definition of the state and mapping of the index that can be viewed. The action is to manipulate the index, such as adding aliases, refreshing, closing indexes, deleting indexes, and so on.
Browser browsing interface, this interface can view the data of multiple indexes at the same time, also can query the data of the specified field.
Structured query interface, this interface can make some complex queries on an index, such as the following example is the query product index, constructs the Boolquery, title field to query "Product" keyword, price range of 10 to 100 records.
Any request interface, this interface can be said to be a rest client, it can be used to do some request for ES or test API interface, the following example is to set the product index number of copies to 1, more APIs can be queried on the ES website.
