Scene: Elasticsearch (hereinafter referred to as ES) normal operation, found that the disk space is not enough, after appending the hard disk, want to cut to a new disk.

Environment: CentOS 6.5 (Liunx Universal)

Start: [Note: This method is not the best method, there is a path to modify the profile development data file]

  1. Df-h viewing disk conditions

  2. Umount/home (the partition where ES is located)

3.mount/[es New Partition]

  1. cp-r [Original ES path]/elasticsrearch [New es Path]

  2. Reboot restart

  3. Start ES

    Nohup [es new directory]/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch start

7. Complete
