5. Check the disk path, the normal result is that each LUN has 2 path alive Status:

#powermt Display Dev=all

You can see devices Emcpowera and Emcpowerb

#powermt Save (Save recognition results)

6. Next is the identified EMC device/dev/emcpowera partition, format, mount, the following from the network , the operation method is basically the same, but the operation of the disk device name is not the same, please refer to. ( the operating device in this case is/dev/emcpowera)

Enter the Fdisk-l command to see the current disk information

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366545284.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

You can see a second hard disk with a SDB in addition to the current first hard drive, and then partition with Fdisk/dev/sdb ( in this case Fdisk/dev/emcpowera)

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366641881.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Go to the Fdisk command, enter H to see Help for the command, partition by n

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366718341.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Here the input e is divided into logical partition, according to P is divided into the main partition, we want to divide the disk into primary partition is input P

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366772225.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Enter the primary partition here as the primary partition, because it is a new disk we enter one of the first primary partitions

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366848997.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

First cylinder is the number of starting disks to select the partition, which can be customized or not, the default is 1, if no special need is strongly recommended to choose the default, that is, one partition (directly press ENTER)

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366906209.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Next is to define the size of the partition, if the default (press ENTER) is the use of all available storage amount, or can be the number of M or m units ending (uppercase M is large B meaning, if the input 1M is actually X8 8m space), here we first divided into a 1G of space, so the input +1024m

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227366953843.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Then enter W to write the partition, waiting for the end to be

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227367048972.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

Re-enter fdisk-l can see a partition we just divided ( in this case the partition is/dev/emcpowera1), and then formatted with MKFS-T ext4-c/DEV/SDB1, if there are multiple partitions can change SDB1 to SDB2 Sdb3 ... And so on, you can see the name of each partition with Fdisk-l

( This example is formatted with MKFS-T ext4-c/dev/emcpowera1)

(also available as command: Mkfs.ext4/dev/emcpowera1 for formatting)

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227367365971.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

The blue part is to write the hard disk label, if you do not want the label can be directly press ENTER, now partition well we use Mount mount the partition can be used, here I attach it to the MNT directory, you can also build a directory mount

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227367426106.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

To see if the partition size is the same as the predetermined one, use the df-th command to look at the current mounted partition and size, and see the partition we just divided.

650) this.width=650; "src=" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/200811/200811221227367491115.jpg "border=" 0 "style=" border:0px; "/>

If you want to mount the partition automatically each time the system restarts, you can modify the/etc/fstab file by adding a section at the end:

/dev/sdb1/www EXT4 Defaults 1 2

(Format description:/DEV/SDB1 represents which partition EXT4 is the format of the partition defaults is the parameter to be set when mounting (read-only, read-write, enable quota, etc.), input defaults include parameters (rw, dev, exec, auto, Nouser, Async), 1 is the use of dump whether to record, 0 is not. 2 is the boot check order, is the boot system file is 1, the other file system is 2, such as do not check for 0)
